Performance is an important part of the development of a dancer. It builds confidence and skills that they will take through life with them. Our performance teams include our LH Dance Crew and LH Dance Company. LH Dance Crew
12 - 16 years
Dance Crew has been set up for current LHDA students to be part of a special performing team. The dancers in this class learn a variety of routines throughout the year and perform them in shows as well as competitions. The aim of this class is to challenge the dancers in a variety of dance styles and to continue developing their performance skills. Dancers must be able to pick up routines quickly and have strong technique. Dance Crew is also a good stepping stone class to help prepare dancers to later audition for our Dance Company. This class is by audition only so please get in touch if your dancer is ready to be challenged to the next level!
LH Dance Company
16 - 35 years
This class has been created for our most experienced dancers and was first set up for all our students who returned back to us after they had been to university! This class is offered to a wider age group as the most important thing is dance ability and a love of performing. A high level of dance technique is required for this class and good commitment is required as we are always working towards new shows and performances. Entry is by audition so do let us know if you would like to be part of this special team.
